If more people are facing this issue, I tend to remove the functionality completely in new releases. When exactly can the value change while the App is the front-app? So when exactly this is a problem? If you open the system-tab, the value is updated and if you set the value with the App, the value is also updated. But if you are only using the App to manipulate this value, this is not a problem as the value can not change itself. The timout-value does indeed not change immediately (only on view-resume). It sounds as there is a bug in combination with the go-to-sleep function of the App, have you ever used the go-to-sleep function and there went something wrong while using it? But I never faced this issue, so it's not a general problem (which makes it hard to reproduce and fix.). FireStopper is just being released to get FireStarter users back up and running while sphinx02 figures out what he wants to do with FireStarter.Click to collapse Hmm, first of all I use the App on my FireTV-Box and FireTV-Stick and both are plugged out every night when I dont use them. Jkchr1s has no intention to continue developing FireStopper as a separate app. Jkchr1s, the creator of FireStopper, wants to make it clear that sphinx02, the creator of FireStarter, still gets all the credit and for his great app.
